Thursday June 28th 1923 I did baking and some washing in AM. I sewed all afternoon on my dress. William and Mary came this evening and we were down at Otts talking about their packing for their Auto Trip east. Letter from Mrs Pickens. Friday June 29th 1923 I got things ready to go to The Elder Daughters part at Mrs Welchs. William took Hattie and me there. Laura came for dinner. Later we went to Aunt Emmas to call on Aunt Sarah who had just come from Springfield Mo. I stopped to get my glasses and do errands. Laura called at Will Andersons. \William brought Hattie and me home. In the evening we will Laura went to a play by S U I students. Saturday June 30th 1923 The forenoon was short as dinner was at 11.30. We all ate together and at just 12 oclock Ott, Fannie, William, Mary, and Hattie left in Otts car for a trip east. We will miss them so much. Laura and I both slept in afternoon. I did not feel well. Card from Ida. Sunday July 1st 1923 Cora took Laura and me to church. We went out to Aunt Emmas for dinner and visit with Aunt Sarah. Will Anderson brought us home. Rod & Cora at Sheldricks Monday July 2nd 1923 Busy all AM. Rode to town with Rob after dinner Took treatment of Dr Stryker. Did errands and home in a taxi. We heard from the folks at Joliet.
