Wednesday September 26th 1923 I was busy sewing all day on my second dress. Cora had the members of her sew club in afternoon. Lula's sister came at noon. She and Lula went away after supper. We girls went to a Style Show later. Thursday September 27th 1923 I was busy most of the day with my dress I wore so much while away. I went to town just before supper for things. Rob brought me home. Hattie & I down to Otts in evening. Later wrote to Laura. Friday September 28th 1923 I was busy with my sewing and some other things all day. The girls to a P E O party. Evening at home. Saturday September 29th 1923 I finished my dress so I wore it to The Elder Daughters Party at Mrs Patricks. It rained so Hattie and I went in a taxi. Walked down town and one of the boys brought us home. We were down at Otts awhile. A rainy evening spent at home. Sunday September 30th 1923 Still raining but Ott & Hattie went to church. I did some things about my part of the house. Wrote to Mattie Fletcher and Sister Ida. Was down at Otts a little while. Evening to church. Monday October 1st 1923 I went to town to do errands in AM. Rode home in Coralville taxi. Hattie and I went back to a picture show in PM and came back the same way.
