Monday October 29th 1923 I did some other things this AM and began a bead bag for myself. Hattie away in the afternoon. I got the storm windows in bay windows. Crotcheted in evening. Tuesday October 30th 1923 It snowed last night and was cold today. LeGrand went away in the afternoon. I put in time on my bag. Wednesday October 31st 1923 Hattie had the Swishers and Ott & Fannie here for dinner. A day pleasantly spent. I had a letter from Birdie and Mr Rowe in California. I worked on my bag. Thursday November 1st 1923 Cora took Hattie and me to town this AM to do errands. We walked home. Hattie and Cora away in the afternoon and Hattie in the evening. Sister Ida came at 3:45 from Carthage Ill where she has been with Harry & family to attend Mrs Boswells funeral. Friday November 2nd 1923 I have given up going away tomorrow and wrote Birdie and The Masons to that effect. Emma came today and fixed my velvet dress and nearly finished another. Ida down to Otts for supper. Hattie to town a little while. Saturday November 3rd 1923 We took Ida to the station and I staid till her train left. Came home with Hattie & Cora. William and Mary came for The Game. They all went in afternoon. Tom [Hyshorn?] from Red Oak here for supper and later Gertrude Thompson and husband called. weather good.
