Wednesday June 4th 1924 It rained some to town with Mary. Went to Aid society at Effie Stevens with Hattie in PM. The Byingtons were here for supper and spent the evening. Thursday June 5th 1924 Busy in AM. Hattie had a part of a luncheon here. The to Miss Sweneys & Effie Stevens. Paul Whetstone here part of the day. Mary took me to station to see about my trip to Oklahoma. I heard from Lydia. Vene I better. Wrote Cousin Jen and Lydia. William came this morning. Hattie & me down to Otts for the evening. Friday June 6th 1924 William and Mary got started before noon. They took some things we gave them. I was busy getting things ready to go. The Whetstones got the deed to The Remley place today. Cora & Fannie to luncheon. They took me to the afternoon train. William met me at Des Moines. Saturday June 7th 1924 William and Mary put me on my train four hours late when it was raining very hard. A good trip to Kansas City. but too late for train I wanted. Left at 11.30. Sunday June 8th 1924 Had to leave Sleeper at Wichita and had local train the rest of the way with change at El Reno. Reached Oklahoma City at 2.35. Spent afternoon and evening visiting. A hard rain at supper time. Art & Ella in the country. Did not get home. To bed early.
