Sept 13, 1902. Alvena's Dutch-Cake. Take bread dough enough for one loaf of bread. 1 tablespoon of part butter & lard pinch salt 3/4 cup of sugar pinch cinnamon nutmeg & lemon, Raisins Mix thoroughly with hand Put in tin to rise. Put sugar & cinnamon on top & keep warm to rise. Bake 3/4 hour slowly.
