Aunt Jen's Ginger Cookies 1 1/2 cups molasses 1 " melted lard (large) 1 " warm (not hot) water 2/3 " brown sugar 2 good teaspoons soda dissolved in the warm water, salt, ginger 2 teas Crullers- Aunt Jens 1 egg 1/2 cup sugar pinch salt nutmeg 1 cup sweet milk in this 2 even teaspoons of cream of tartar & 1 of soda 8 teapoons melter butter flour to roll out
