Mrs Wilman's Chocolate Cake. 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/3 " water Yolks of 2 eggs 1/2 cup of chocolate melted 1/4 cup of hot water 1/2 teaspoon soda dissolved in 1/2 cup of sour milk 1 1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon vanilla whites of eggs last. To renovate a piece of velvet, turn a perfectly clean baking pan. bottom upward over the gas flame, but do not let it get too hot. Wet a clean cloth in water, lay it over the pan, and lay the velvet over the cloth. While it is steaming, brush, with the nap, ver ycarefully. Repeat if necessary.
