Mullein tea - a half leaf of mullein torn into several pieces, put into a goblet & filled up with cold water, keeping the mullein under water - take a sip repeatedly during the day, before retiring, & on getting up in the morning - It is best they say to gather the leaves before hard frosts, & dry them for winter use - It certainly is a great remedy. Arthur's receipt for taking grease out of cloth. Alcohol 1 1/2 oz Oil winter green 1/2 oz - Bay Rum 1/8 oz Aqua Amonia 1/8 oz - Chloroform 1/2 oz, Sulphuric Ether 1 oz Let stand six hours in a corked bottle then mix with one gallon deodorized gasoline and one oz powdered borax -
