Friday January 21st 1916 It had rained all night. It was late when we got up this morning. I wrote four letters. Did fancy work my spare time. Edith came home tonight. Saturday January 22nd 1916 It cleared of fine. I was busy with my own affairs all the short forenoon. I went up town for some things in afternoon and down to see Lizzie. Edith was up later and she and Will came together at supper time. Sunday January 23rd 1916 A fine day. Will and I went to church. Edith helped her mother. We read most of afternoon. Edith went back tonight. Monday January 24th 1916 Fine day. Vene did big washing. I am knitting mittens for Lydia. A letter from Hattie this evening says she is better and will start to Los Angeles tomorrow afternoon. Mrs. Broadway and Mr & Mrs Solomon Coldren go on same train Tuesday January 25th 1916 Weather cloudy. I ironed part of the forenoon. I wrote three letters in afternoon and knit on mittens. Wednesday January 26th 1916 I was busy all forenoon and went up town in afternoon and to Eva Taylors. Will came for supper and we spent the evening. It began raining soon after we got home.
