13 Tuesday February 22nd 1916 I baked a cake in forenoon for mens bazaar supper and went down town at 2.15 to see Minnie Showers. Then later to the church to supper where Will met me. We spend part of the evening there. a nice evening. Wednesday February 23rd 1916 I wrote Hattie and Lydia this morning. a card from Edith said Lydia had been sick since we left. Will and I went down at 1.15 to go to "The Birth of a Nation" It was wonderful. We got home at 5.40. Weather pleasant. Thursday February 24th 1916 I got dinner so I could go down at 12.15. I was at Aunt Libs awhile and later went over to the Old Home to help Fannie and Cora put some things away as one of the clerks at the store is to live there awhile. I walked up town and home at 5.40 a letter from Hattie today Friday February 25th 1916 I was busy with the work all forenoon. I went down at 2.15 to go to Ida Andersons to a fancy work party, we had such a nice time. I rode down town with Rob Cora & Fannie in the Auto. home at 7.40 The folks came at noon today to live in the old house. Saturday February 26th 1916 It was a most unpleasant day a cold wind blowing with gusts of snow. Will was down town in afternoon. We got up so late we had only two meals. I wasnt out of the house all day.
