Wednesday March 15th 1916 I did a little sewing in forenoon. Was ready to go away at 1.15. I stopped at Manville Station to call at Ed McCollister's and Ray Weldies. I went on to Cora's on city car to the Missionary meeting. Did not get home till 5.40 and Will and I went back at 7.15 to attend the play 'The Typhoon' with Walter Whiteside the star. We missed the 10.50. It was nearly 12 when we got home. Thursday March 16 1916 We slept late and as the breakfast was so late did not have dinner till two oclock. I went down at 3.15 to get a suitcase of Hattie's from the garret. I was at Robs for supper and went to town with him and Cora. I was at the ME Church to hear Mrs. Booth Clibborn. Home at 9.30. Friday March 17 1916 St Patrick's Day! I went in at 11.15 to attend the Elder Daughters party at President MacBrides house. A very pleasant meeting. I attended to some errands later and came home at 4.30. Read in evening. Saturday March 18 1916 Will went down town in forenoon on business and we went back together at 12.15 to see The Engineers Parade. There was a big crowd in town. After the Parade we went to a picture show and were out in time that I got home at 3.30. I was very tired. Will came on the next car. I wrote Hattie a letter in the evening.
