Sunday April 9th 1916 It was pleasant. Will went to ride with Art Mc. and I to the Baptist Church. It is a fine building. I read most of the afternoon. In the evening Will & I went to the M C Church to hear a lecture on "The Passion Play" Monday April 10th 1916 It was a fine day Ella did washing and we went down town to picture shows. I stopped at the dentists my old gold crowns are sore. I spent evening at home working on the lace. Tuesday April 11th 1916 My face was swollen this morning and my teeth very sore Will went with me late in afternoon and the dentist pulled both the crowns on right side. They were in bad shape. Wednesday April 12th 1916 I was at home all day and suffering less the swelling is going out of my face. I had a letter from Rob and Jane one from Lorna Masen. Lydia is some better. There was a string wind blowing today. Mrs Flich here in the evening Thursday April 13th 1916 I went down town in forenoon. When I got back was suffering with a pain in my shoulder. Said it was rheumatism caused by the poison from my teeth. put [?] [?] on my shoulder. put my arm in a sling and left medicine. Still rainy.
