Wednesday May 31st 1916 I worked all day at house cleaning. There werent much Will could help me with today. I was busy till bed time. Thursday June 1st 1916 Will went to town to see the show parade. I was too late for it. I was too tired to go sooner. We had our dinner in town and went over the river with Rob in the car. I got ready to help the girls receive their company. a delightful party. I came home at 7:30. Rode to town with the McCallisters. Ott & Fanny 29th wedding day Friday June 2nd 1916 I did some house work and wrote Birdie went down at 1:15 to help the girls receive again. another pleasant afternoon. Each day there has been about 70 ladies present. I rode to town with the folks in the Auto and came home at 7:30. a fine day. Saturday June 3rd 1916 It was very late when we got up. I was down to the store for some things. Will in town and brought Hatties horse out so we drove down town after supper. Got some of my things from over the river. A card from Lydia. Vene does not go to Oklahoma. Sunday June 4th 1916 Will and I drove down to Uncle Jims. We found him very miserable. he has trouble in his foot some thing like Mother had. we only staid a little while. Come home by Park bridge. After dinner I wrote to Vene, Ira and Lizzie Lindley. I read in the evening andf fixed some things I needed for dinner tomorrow.
