Thursday June 15th 1916 Will & I were out in the yard part of the forenoon talking about some changes in the fence &c. He went to town in afternoon and I was sewing. I fixed a dress and finished a pillow top sheets I made while away and put in on. some showers today. Friday June 16th 1916 I went down home at 9:15 to help Hattie clean paper from the walls. Rob brought us to town so I came home at 4:50. A letter from Vene and Lydia. Vene cannot come. Saturday June 17th 1916 I did baking and got dinner so I went down at 12:15 to help again. I too lunch with me. Hattie and I had our suppers alone at the old place. We finished both east rooms up stairs. Rob brought out some things of mine there. I went back with them and come out on the car. Sunday June 18th 1916 It was rainy so I did not go to church. I wrote letters all afternoon and had a chance to send them down town. I put in the evening looking over some old diaries. Monday June 19th 1916 Will helped me do the washing. The clothes got dry so I ironed them too. I sewed lace on bed spread in evening. Tuesday June 20th 1916 It rained all day. I got the means and did some sewing. I fixed a light dress and did some mending and fancy work. Will about home most of the day.
