Monday September 25th 1916 Lizzie did washing in forenoon. I helped a little. we went calling in afternoon. Evening at home doing fancy work. Tuesday September 26th 1916 We got the ironing done early. I did some writing. we went over to Mrs Shores in afternoon to learn a new pattern. Wednesday September 27th 1916 I went up town awhile in the in the morning and in the PM walked out to the ranch. Lizzie and I both got a lot of mail ready before going. Ate supper at Otts. It was dark when we got home. Thursday September 28th 1916 Lizzie and I were up town. Called on a couple of ladies to write them to spend tomorrow afternoon with us. She was busy all afternoon with housework. I did fancy work. a letter from Hattie with home news. Uncle Jim is very bad of indeed. Friday September 29th 1916 I wrote some and did fancy work in forenoon. The ladies came in afternoon. we had a pleasant time and Lizzie entertained them to a fine lunch. Did fancy work in evening. Saturday September 30th 1916 It was a beautiful day. I went up town for Lizzie. We spent the day at home visiting and doing fancy work. Sunday October 1st 1916 We walked out to Seiberts for dinner. Ott had a splendid meal. After dinner we walked through a beautiful wood to some folks. Scott Lizzie and I went to church. Will stopped at home to read a book. It was real cool tonight. went to bed early.
