Monday November 20th 1916 It was 32 years today that Charlie & Ida were married. Will helped me wash in forenoon. I went down town at 1:15 was in Leslie's office most of the afternoon as he was working on my teeth. I brought home a pair of shoes to try. I met the girls from over the river to get a present for Marjorie Denton. a beautiful day. Tuesday November 21st 1916 I prepared things to take to The Elder Daughter's Picnic and things for Will's dinner. Went down at 10:15. Leslie put on a gold crown for me. I left Mrs Webbs about 2:30 and walked over to Coras by the north bridge. She had a club meeting. I stayed there till after supper. Rob took me to town so I came home at 7:50. Did fancy work all evening. Wednesday November 22nd 1916 It rained all day. I was doing some sewing. Will & I got ready to attend the marriage of Myron Walker and Marjorie Denton at The M E Church at 7:30. We went down at 6:15 and had our supper in town. The wedding was beautifully arranged and carried out. Home at 8:30. Mrs Dow went home tonight and Cora went as far as Minneapolis with her. Thursday November 23rd 1916 It was a frightful cold windy day. I sewed all day. I had to make some changes in a dress just made. Friday November 24th 1916 It was still cold but not quite so windy. I sewed all the spare time I had on the dress. But went down town in the afternoon to have Leslie work some more on my teeth. In the evening I put the [trimming?] on pillow cases, so I finished all my things for the bazaar.
