Saturday February 10th 1917 I went down town with Walter. After making some purchases I walked out to McCormicks to ask Josephine to have The Falks call for me at Mooreheads if they were in and went on there. I had my dinner there and Mrs Slemmons and I went down town. It was a perfect day. I came home with Walter and We all went back to do errands and go to the picture show. We get "The Press" now. Sunday February 11th 1917 It was a perfectly beautiful day. We w went to Church. Had our dinner down town. They took a ride out toward DeLand to call on The Falks. Did some writing after we got home. Some of their friends stayed for supper. Lydia birthday. Monday February 12th 1917 We were home all day. Mrs Falk and I did a little washing. I worked on my spread. She and I went in with Walter and to the picture show in the evening. Tuesday February 13th 1917 I did ironing in forenoon. Was home all day. I wrote a couple of letters to Lydia & Mollie Stitt. I finished the second block of my spread. Walter did not come home to supper. Wednesday February 14th 1917 It was a year today since we left Delavan. Mrs Falk went in town for the day and I got the dinner. She came back about 1:30 with some Davenport friends who had drove over from Daytona. We decided to not go to Daytona tomorrow but will go Sunday with The Falks. I wrote to Cora. I had our packing all done. Down to see Romeo & Juliet in evening.
