Thursday February 15th 1917 We were home all day. Will and I both slept awhile in the afternoon. I had called. Mrs Bunn and sister from Ill. Laura Mason wrote me they were here. Will and I went down town with the folks in the evening. Spent the time at Mooreheads. They jist back from Daytona. very crowded there. Friday February 16th 1917 It was 16 years today since we moved to Coralville. I was busy all day till Mrs Falks and I went up to Taylors for a call. We were all at home in the evening. weather fine. Saturday February 17th 1917 I did some work up stairs in forenoon and did fancy work. wrote Hattie a long letter in afternoon. I packed a few things We all went down town in the evening. But did not stay late. Sunday February 18th 1917 We went in with The Falks this morning and got our dinner while they went to church. They went to Daytona for dinner. and took us over to find a place to stay which we did. Got a good room for 1.50 a day. took a walk in the evening. Monday February 19th 1917 We walked to the depot in the morning to see about a train. I did some writing. we went over to Daytona Beach in the afternoon and walked down to hear the band play in evening. Tuesday February 20th 1917 Went over to call on Jim Dunlaps family in the forenoon. They took us a ride in the afternoon. I wrote some more today. We spent the evening on the porch at our rooming house.
