Sunday April 8th 1917 Easter Sunday but I did not stop outside the house. The [Girard?] girls spent the day with us. and we visited with Birdie and Mrs Robinson all the evening. Monday April 9th 1917 The sun shone today and the snow is disappearing. I wrote some cards for morning mail. Soon after dinner we walked over the new bridge. Mrs Blechner & Birdie going with us. Spent the evening visiting. I have done a lot on my spread. Tuesday April 10th 1917 The forenoon soon passed and after early dinner we left for home. Reached here at 3:55 and Rob brought us out home in the Auto. I got supper and read the papers. Wednesday April 11th 1917 I got the work done and things fixed for Wills dinner and went down to Hatties at 11:15. We had dinner at Coras and later went to a picture show and to help Hattie select paper. Rob took us a ride about town. I came home at 5:30 Thursday April 12th 1917 I was busy about the house all forenoon. After early dinner I went down to help Hattie care for the [twin] Gibbs while they moved. We took them to town about three oclock and then did a lot of work in the old summer kitchen. I came home at 7:30 Friday April 13th 1917 We did a big washing and I did some of the ironing after cleaning the garret in the afternoon. weather very pleasant. Will busy about the place. .
