Monday November 19th 1917 Hattie did wash early and was down to other house. I washed out some things for myself. She was away all afternoon. I ironed and pressed suit for Will. In the evening we all went to "Elks Minstrels" which was very good. Tuesday November 20th 1917 Hattie prepared meat for the mean for "The All Day Sew" at Lulu Blooms. LGrand took us over and his mother and Aunt Millie to a luncheon at Shambaurghs. We had a very pleasant time. At three oclock I came back down town to Mrs Griffen to a meeting of "The M E Aid Society." Wednesday November 21st 1917 Hattie did washing in forenoon and LeGrand took her with Fannies folks to Mrs Bynes to a luncheon. After dinner I went over to see Mrs Smith. She is not so well as I wished she was. Later I came down to call on Mrs Gibbs. Very windy. walked home by north bridge. Thursday November 22nd 1917 Rob & Cora got home last night.
