Friday November 30th 1917 I was at home all day and busy with different things. Hattie was away and Will & I had supper when she got home. was knitting most of the evening. Saturday December 1st 1917 This is Otts birthday. We were busy most of the forenoon about the house. I went to town at one oclock to take a treatment and later with Will to a picture show. finished a pair of socks in the evening. Sunday December 2nd 1917 Rob took Will & I up home in the car to get some things after he took Hattie to church. I read a book in afternoon. Paul & Hattie started to church alone but later Will & I thought it would not rain and we went too. Enjoyed Mr Ellis sermon on Fits & Mis Fits. Monday December 3rd 1917 I worked on Bazaar things in forenoon. Hattie went to town before me after dinner and we met to go to chow came home with Rob at supper time at Cora's. The family were there. a pleasant evening together. Tuesday December 4th 1917 I am still doing Bazaar work in connection with my knitting. Hattie went to Presbyterian Aid at noon. I have a cold and as the weather is not very good did not go out today. Hattie went down to Otts in the evening. William came up to bid us good by. he goes away at midnight. I gave him 5.00 to make him comfortable on his trip.
