Thursday February 28th 1918 I walked down to Janes after breakfast to take a few things for Ella to put in the wash. Came back in the afternoon and to see Grace she is some better. I had a letter from Warner McCall he leaves New Orleans now for home. I wrote Hattie, Mrs Ashley a card to Tishie and Mrs Jones. Friday March 1st 1918 It was a fine day. I was in the room most of the forenoon came down to Janes as soon as I had dinner. and over to see Grace awhile. Ella was out taking care of her Mother who is sick. We spent the evening in the room. Robert Stinson whom we met where we get supper spent the evening with us. We had a letter from Mary Woolf with one enclosed from Joe Woolf. Saturday March 2nd 1918 There was a fine shower early in the morning. I came down to Janes as soon as I had my dinner. It was showery so I did not go over to see Grace. Ella away again today. There was a heavy rain all evening. At home reading. Sunday March 3rd 1918 Will & I went out to Gertrude Mitchells for dinner. A very pleasant visit. Came down to Janes about 5 o'clock Had lunch there. called at Art Mc-- before going to the room. Monday March 4th 1918 I had a letter from Mrs Stinson inviting us out for a visit. I wrote her we would come Saturday. I wrote Hattie too. Was busy about the room all morning and went to Mrs Knight for a bath in afternoon. Was at Janes awhile too a letter from Lydia.
