She sends word Robert Patton has enlisted in The Artillery service. It was a fine evening. William Byington is 20 years old today. I feel very tired tonight. Tuesday May 7th 1918 Will is 70 years old today. He was busy about the place mowed the yard and planted more garden. I washed a few colored clothes in the forenoon and washed the garret floor. After dinner I cleaned up the kitchen and slept a little while. I had head ache all last night and still have it today.
