Sunday June 9th 1918 I felt much better today. I wrote a letter to Hattie on part of Lydias. I went over to Mrs Jones late in the afternoon and Esther took my letter to send in town with theirs. Will & I have fully decided we do not want to live in Coralville any longer. The river is going down. Monday June 10th 1918 I was about the house in forenoon. Do not feel as well as yesterday. Was on the bed all afternoon. Will worked some in the garden. We spent the evening on the porch. Tuesday June 11th 1918 I put in the worst day once I have been sick. I was only up long enough to help with the meals. I was on the couch all evening. Commencement is in progress. Wednesday June 12th 1918 I was down on the couch most of the forenoon. Ott called and told me he and Matt [Quens?] would come out late in the afternoon for a call. The Urban cars are running again today. The Whinneys brought Cora out to get some strawberries. Then she and Ron were back in the evening. I wrote to Lydia and a card to Hattie. I sent a paper to Lydia and check to Mrs Longer for Mission Dues. Thursday June 13th 1918 I did some work in the kitchen in the forenoon. We needed some baking done. I laid on the bed in my room in the afternoon and crotcheted. It was a year today since William was accepted in The Ambulance Unit.
