Friday July 12th 1918 I did quite a lot on the quilt. Wrote a letter to Lydia and a card to Lizzie Lindley. Will & I went down at 7:09 to see "Mollie Make Believe" Rob brought us home in the Auto. Saturday July 13th 1918 I did not sleep well last night and had a head ache. Will did not feel like getting up till nearly noon. I put in a lot of time on the quilt. Though I slept two hours in afternoon. Got my silk coat - Hattie sent. Sunday July 14th 1918 We both slept well and felt better today. Mrs Falk came on the 12:00 car. Had dinner and visited with her. Monday July 15th 1918 The weather was threatening most of the day. Fannie invited Mrs Falk and I down for supper. We went at 4:14. Had a very pleasant visit. There was a hard rain about 8 oclock. But had stopped when we came at 9:45. Tuesday July 16th 1918 We were both home all day. I put in some time on the quilt. It was quite cool. Enjoying Mrs Falks visit. Wednesday July 17th 1918 Was busy with the work all forenoon. Cora & Fannie came in the Chandler car a little after one clock and took us down to Aunt Ellenes for a call. Will and I went up to see Uncle Jim a few moments on the way back while Cora rested from driving the car. We were home by four oclock. Mrs Falk went to Science meeting in the evening. I finished Venes quilt after supper. a long letter from Laura Mason. Wrote Jane and sent it along to her.
