Monday February 3rd 1919 I did not get up early. I sewed some in afternoon. Hattie and Birdie went to a luncheon at Effie Stevens. Rob took them after he had an early dinner. I wrote Lydia in the evening. Tuesday February 4th 1919 It was quite cold today. Ott came last night and Hattie had all the family together for dinner. Ott went back at 3:30. I sewed some and picked up a few things to take Friday. Wednesday February 5th 1919 I helped iron some in the forenoon and went to town with Rob at noon. I was several places and Dr Smiths office went down to Mary Woolfs awhile. I had letters from Stella, Lydia and Winnie. Wrote Stella and Lydia about coming to Delavan. Thursday February 6th 1919 I did not gt up till nearly noon. Hattie went to town late in the afternoon to The Presbyterian supper. Rob & Cora were there. I did some packing. Birdie, LeGrand and I here alone. Friday February 7th 1919 I got up in time to get ready to leave home at ten oclock. Rob brought Hattie and I to town. I got ticket and checked baggage, then called at [Fannies?] to say good by to Mary. Left at eleven oclock. It was a sad trip without Will.
