Wednesday March 19th 1919 I got up before noon. I did a few little things today. Had letters from Jake Ware and Ella Nagle. Sat with Hattie in the evening. We both went to bed early. Thursday March 20th 1919 I helped some with the ironing and got dressed to go over to Ida's when Rob went back. Hattie went to Red Cross. I had letters from Bell Stinson and Lizzie Lindley. Scott is very sick. I wrote Lydia. Friday March 21st 1919 I spent the forenoon in bed. I talked with Ida and wrote letter to Ira McCallister for birthday and a card to Lizzie Lindley. Ida and I took a walk after supper. Saturday March 22nd 1919 I got up earlier today. Hattie is sick in bed so I came home with Rob at noon. I had letters from The Reed girls and Lydia. Wills friend Dr Nattress is dead. Sunday March 23rd 1919 Hattie went to town for treatment and Ida came home with her for the day. I got the dinner. Ida walked over to The New Hospital in afternoon. Hattie in bed all day. I have been lonely and depressed today. Oh Will how I miss you. Monday March 24th 1919 This would have been Father's birthday. Hattie in bed all day. I did the work as best I could. Ida went home at noon. I lay down awhile.
