Friday June 6th 1919 I walked over to Hedges before noon. After dinner there I went to Coralville. I worked away. There was a hard rain in afternoon and another when I was waiting for the car. Hattie at Aid Society. She and I down at Otts after supper to talk over the plan of my living in the back part of the house. Saturday June 7th 1919 I went to Coralville at 9:15. worked all day. The 5:39 was so late I did not get home till seven oclock. Hattie had been at Mrs Balls luncheon. was very tired to bed early. Sunday June 8th 1919 The folks went for a ride and picnic. I was busy about the house most of the forenoon. wrote Lydia and took the letter down to Otts. came home for my supper. wrote Ida. The folks house at 10 oclock. Monday June 9th 1919 Went to town with Rob at noon. Did errands. I got new springs and mattress for Ott & Fannie. went for a treatment and came home with Cora at 5 oclock. Began spread for Lydia. Tuesday June 10th 1919 Went to Coralville at noon. Ruth and Reed Hedges went with me. We took up carpets in both rooms upstairs and the sitting room and Reed cleaned them. They carried a lot of the tings Mr Grier had put in the summer kitchen. upstairs. The children came home earlier. I had my supper and came at 7:20. It is six months today since Will left me. Ott tells me Frank Carson wants to buy the place. I was tired and went to bed early.
