Wednesday June 11th 1919 I was down at Fannies in forenoon. Jenie Shuck telephones Earl could come out after supper for my brown couch I gave her. I went to Coralville at 1:45, packed dishes in afternoon. It was so late before Earl came I had to wait for the 9:09 car. was at Mrs [Grants?] awhile. It rained in afternoon. weather very warm. Grand Mother's birthday. Thursday June 12th 1919 I went up home at 12:15 and Ruth went with me. Charlie Wilson brought a load of things down to Tishie. Ruth came back at 2:45. I was so tired I did not do much more. Frank Carson was out to look at the place. A hard shower. I came home at 7:20. Hattie in town till late bed time. Friday June 13th 1919 I washed out some things for myself and worked about the house. Hattie wen to Mrs Curriers to reception. I ironed and crotcheted. We took a ride after supper. Marjorie Hartsock here with Cora. Wrote Lydia. Had letter from Laura later. I answered. Ott came up at noon. I signed a contract to see The Coralville home to Frank Carson. He gets possession March 1st 1920. It brought a little less than the $7000 Will asked for it. If he could only have lived to do this himself and come here with me to stay. Saturday June 14th 1919 I was out to Coralville part of the day. I wrapped some pictures and did other things. This work is hard on me. The others busy with their affairs came back before supper. This is cousin By Byington's birthday. I spent it with him in 1912 in Chicago.
