Saturday June 21st 1919 I was at home all day. Mrs William did the washing. I ironed part of the things Laura to town before supper. Sunday June 22nd 1919 I wrote Hattie in forenoon. Laura went to church and to Aunt Emmas for dinner. I ate down at Otts. I came home and slept two hours. wrote Ida. Sent Nellie a check for her birthday. Ott came up in the evening. Rob took us a ride. Monday June 23rd 1919 I washed a few things and did the rest of the ironing before noon. I rested in afternoon. We heard from The girls they were very tired from their trip. very warm. a storm tonight. Laura had a long letter from Lydia. Tuesday June 24th 1919 I went to Coralville at 10:30. I worked all the time on Vene's carpet. Henry Miller brought up the part of the washing machine. I did not come home till nine oclock. I was very tired. Wednesday June 25th 1919 Mr William's folks moved yesterday. I went around and looked through the house before breakfast. was at work in the kitchen all forenoon. Wrote Hattie in afternoon. Ott was up after supper. He heard from William and he will be home in two weeks. Thursday June 26th 1919 I went to Coralville at 10:30. I worked on Venes carpet all day. Henry Miller brought up the cylender to the washing machine and talked about fixing the house down home. I did not get home till nine oclock. Ott was up talking to Laura. I was very tired and felt so lonesome waiting for the car. Letters from the girls.
