Friday June 27th 1919 I did some work about the house and got the dinner. I slept two hours in afternoon and wrote to Hattie. Ott here in evening. Saturday June 28th 1919 I went to Coralville at nine oclock. Laura got her dinner in town and went to Amana with a party. I sewed on the carpet all day. Rode down with Mr Grier. Laura came soon after. She had a nice trip. Ott called up from town. was busy at the bank. Sunday June 29th 1919 [deleted text: Eleven years since Rob & Cora were married. They were with us a year ago today.] Cora took Laura to church. She and I were invited down to Otts for dinner. We came home to rest. I have not felt very well today. weather warm. wrote Lydia. Monday June 30th 1919 Eleven years since Rob & Cora were married. They spent the day with us last year. Cora went to Cedar Rapids with some ladies. I went to Coralville at 9 oclock. Rode to town with Rob. Laura came at 12:15. Soon as we had dinner we packed the trunk to send to her Mother. Clifford Koser brought it down and she came with him. I came down at 7:09. Stopped at Otts and later he was here. he expects William tonight. Tuesday July 1st 1919 William came and was up here this morning. I was busy with baking. Took cake and pie over to Rob & Cora. I slept two hours in the afternoon. After supper I went down to Otts to stay all night as he had gone to Des Moines. weather very warm.
