Sunday August 17th 1919 Rob & Cora gone all day. We girls at home. I was doing things in my own part of the house in forenoon and helped some with the dinner. Rested awhile in PM and wrote to Lizzie Lindley. On the porch with Hattie & Joe in evening. Monday August 18th 1919 I worked some dressed for myself and Hattie and did a little work in my part of the house before Aunt Ellen and The Girls came. Fannie here in afternoon. The evening on the porch after more work in my part of the house. Tuesday August 19th 1919 I got up early to iron. Charlie Wilson and George Miller came to work. I was showing them most of the day. Hattie cleaned the kindling cellar with George help and she and I took things from the old desk to be hauled away. Edith Mason came at six oclock on the car with Frank Woolf. Ott here a little time in the evening. Fannie sick in bed. Wednesday August 20th 1919 A telegram from Millie Byington this morning said she would he here at 10:05. I went to meet her. The train late so it was noon when we got here. Bertha Williams came at 2:45. Joe and Hattie over town awhile. Little George worked till noon. Thursday August 21st 1919 Edith walked down to see Uncle Jim. Did not get back for dinner. I made some preserves and worked in my part of the house. Was down to Otts after supper. Fannie still sick. Visiting with Millie and The Williams girls. Evening around the lamp in house. Old Settlers day. Will Andersons family, Aunt Emma, & Marjorie called after supper.
