Saturday September 20th 1919 It was warm as summer. Hattie and I washed all the napkins used for the parties and many other things. We got them ironed before supper. Hattie put the house in order. We walked down to Otts in evening. Rob, Cora, and their company invited out for supper. A heavy rain tonight. Sunday September 21st 1919 Hattie to A S and church with Ott. I was busy most of the day bringing things from my room up stairs and placing down stairs. I was down at Otts late in afternoon. Blanche and Little Robert went home. cooler. The first fire in furnace. Monday September 22nd 1919 I was busy about my part of the house in forenoon. I cleaned the floors for the carpets. They were brought over and Mr Myers came and put them down before five oclock. I worked in the garret. Hattie down to Fannies to a meeting and later over to spend the evening with Mrs Broadway. I ate supper at Otts. Paul Helmich back tonight. Tuesday September 23rd 1919 We girls were both busy all forenoon. The folks were in to look at my carpets and think then pretty. LeGrand took us all to town in afternoon. Did some errands. Nellie over to stay all night. Wednesday September 24th 1919 id a little work about the house before eating lunch to go to Coralville at 12:15. I worked all afternoon bringing things from the garret to put down in the old well, and packing others. Tishie Hedges was out awhile. I rode home with Mrs Greir. Hattie to a luncheon at The County Club. Ott & Fannie up in the evening. I had a long letter from Lydia.
