Tuesday September 30th 1919 It rained most of last night and today has been showery. I sewed on my kimona. Hattie down to Fannies in afternoon. Rob & Cora having meals here, very busy at the store. Wednesday October 1st 1919 Henry Miller was here doing some things about the house. Hattie to town afternoon and evening. Ott up in the evening. I sewed a little finished my kimona. weather very warm. Thursday October 2nd 1919 Hattie and I did Coras ironing today and I worked all my spare time doing mending for her. She helped at the store in PM but spent evening here. I had a long letter from Joe Woolf and Lydia. weather still warm. Ott & Fannie here part of the evening. Friday October 3rd 1919 Hattie gave the front part of the house a good cleaning in forenoon and I did some work in my part. I wrote a card to Lydia and a check to Schuppert & Kolilka. I went back to town with Rob & Cora after dinner. Did some errands. went to the cemetery to be near Will for a few moments then out to see Gertrude Smith. Home with R & C. Hattie had Aid meeting. Mrs Broadway stayed all night. Saturday October 4th 1919 I washed out some dressed in forenoon. Sewed on towels I was changing in afternoon and evening. Did some ironing too. a hard rain about four oclock. Busy at store. R & C did not come to supper. Football game. Otts got new car. A year today Vene came with The Woolfs. How glad Will & I were.
