Saturday October 25th 1919 I sewed all day on my green dress. Hattie busy with her work. I walked to town to get some things for my dress. I got my glasses at Dr Ned Smiths. Hattie to town in afternoon. I did not make much progress on my dress. Sunday October 26th 1919 Hattie went to church and later to Mrs Hazards funeral. I walked out to Hedges for dinner. called on Mollie Folsom and went to the old home at Carolville. Back at 4:15. Stopped at Otts. Hattie there. I wrote to Cousin Jen, Ella, Noel and Lydia. It was 35 years today since Will asked me to be his wife. Monday October 27th 1919 Hattie was down at Fannies all day sewing. I went to town with Rob after dinner for things for my sewing. I sewed what time I could. It was a cloudy day with drizzling rain. Tuesday October 28th 1919 I sewed in forenoon. Rob came in as we finished dinner. and wanted me to go to Oskaloosa with them in afternoon. We started at two oclock. Fannie & Mrs Sheldrich in afternoon. Got there at 6:45 for supper. saw Lulu Bloom. We left there at 8:30 coming by way of Washington & Keota. Home at 3:30. Hattie had Mollie to stay all night. Paul Anderson & Paul Helmich to supper. Wednesday October 29th 1919 I sewed all day and in the evening on my dress and other things. The girls all went to Ida Andersons to a luncheon. Lulu Bloom came and is at Coras.
