Saturday March 2nd 1912 It snowed all day. Will to town in the morning and Ida went down a little while too. I finished fixing my cloak in the afternoon, telegram from Nellie tells Ott not to come. Sunday March 3rd 1912 It was a cold wintry day. The day spent quietly at home. I wrote to Mr. [Linborger?]about his Delavan property and to Birdie [Harris?] and Cora. The other folks reading It was six months today since we put Dear Old [Mother?] away. Monday March 4th 1912 I did some sewing in the morning. Ida wrote letters We did fancy work and visited in the afternoon. No one heard from Nellie today. Fannie started after her mother tonight. Ott went to Cedar Rapids. Thursday March 5th 1912 I did the regular work and some sewing. There was no letter from Nellie and Ida telephoned her in the afternoon. She is all right and had just neglected to write. Will went in town this afternoon to settle with Art Jones for the land he bought-lost. Wednesday, March 6th 1912 I was busy with the work all forenoon. Ida and I went to town at 2:15. Stopped at Miss [Harris?] to see about dress making. I then did a lot of errands was down to the Library and to Dr Smith's office. I did not get home till 5.40 and was very tired. I got supper and read in the evening. Ida had come home earlier a nice long letter from Lydia today.
