Saturday April 27th 1912 weather pleasanter. I was busy most of the day cleaning out cupboards so to get ready to clean house later. Will to town twice. I sent a bundle to the rummage sale by him in the afternoon. I read all evening. Sunday April 28th 1912. It rained all day long. I was busy about the house most of the forenoon and wrote to Lydia in the afternoon. Will and I talked all the evening. To bed early. Monday April 29th 1912. It was cooler today. Will and I worked all forenoon getting ready to set hens. I went to town in the afternoon to get some work done on my teeth and selected a new hat. Did more work with the chickens after supper. Tuesday April 30th 1912 Will got eggs from Charlie Smith and we set more hens. I went down home at 1.15 to spend the afternoon with some ladies at Hatties. a nice time did not get home till 6:40. I looked after the chickens and read in evening. Wednesday May 1st 1912 I was busy with the work all forenoon. Went down to the church in afternoon to the annual aid society meeting. I got my new hat. Will busy about home. We have 7 little pigs. Thursday May 2nd 1912. It rained all day. I was sewing what time I could. I wrote Rob & Cora in the afternoon. Ott started to Dakota last night to be gone the rest of the week.
