Saturday June 8th 1912 It was fine day. Will helped me partly with the washing before he drove to town in the forenoon. In the afternoon I ironed and done some cleaning around the house. Will to town. John has not been well for a few days but was back to the store today. He and Hattie are going to Boulder on Thursday of next week. Sunday June 9th 1912 I was just as busy as I could be all forenoon. The chickens needed extra care and that with the dinner kept me busy. I went down home at 2.15. Hattie and I visited at Otts while the other folks went to the Breedvilles Sermon. I came home at 5.30. I did some extra work. very tired. Monday June 10th 1912 I got up early as it looked like rain and picked strawberries before I got the breakfast. I put up three quarts, baked cake and got the dinner. I went to town at 2:15 to do some errands. I came home at 4:30. Did evening work. I had a letter from Nellie and Laura Mason today. Tuesday June 11th 1912. I did a lot of work today. I baked bread and cooked a chicken and washed a few pieces I wanted to take with me. I got some of my things picked up to pack in the afternoon. I finished in the evening and did a little telephoning and went to bed early. Will and I put up what cherries there were 4 quarts Willie and Connie Anderson sail for Europe today. This was GrandMothers birthday.
