Monday June 24th 1912 I did a lot of sweeping and cleaning about the house in the forenoon, sewed some in the afternoon, after taking a sleep and Laura and I spent the evening with Mrs Robinson. Tuesday June 25th 1912 With Wills help I got the bed down from the garret that I used to have in the little roon and put it up in the parlor. I did some cleaning in the garret. I rested in the afternoon and after early supper Laura and I went down to spend the evening on the porch with Fannie. Wrote Hattie today. Wednesday June 26th 1912. I was busy with the work all forenoon. I rested some after dinner and went down at 3:15 to attend the funeral of Mrs Fanny Barnes at the Baptist Church at 4. oclock. I got some things needed and came home at 5:30. We heard from the folks at Boulder that John had been hurt with a street car. Thursday June 27th 1912. I worked and baked bread in the forenoon and in the afternoon did ironing and Will helped me get the screens from the up stairs windows and painted them and the frames for the front door. Laura spent the day with John Stevens & Andersion families. I wrote Hattie in the evening. Ott gfot home early this morning. he had gone up to Boulder and found John quite badly hurt. he is not able to sit up at all. The weather is very warm.
