Sunday July 28th 1912 Went to the same place for our breakfast and Mr. Gaymon sent us to the station in his Automobile. we left Denver at 9:30 on the Rocky Mountain Limited. A Miss Wilson from Monte Vista was on the train. She had been staying at Len Price and Aunt Emma gave her a letter to us. She said Len was no better. We had a fine trip home reaching here an hour late. Monday July 29th 1912 Hattie and Robbie Hall were at the depot. They took the folks over home and we came down to the depot on the car and got out home on the 9:30. We found every thing fine and after dinner Mr & Mrs Huffman went home, Jinnie had brought out trunk out before noon. I did the unpacking and then slept all afternoon. Ott is out in Nebraska on business. Laura went home Friday and Louie to Chicago for her visit. Tuesday July 30th 1912 I worked all forenoon putting up peaches that I got here at the door yesterday. I took a sleep after dinner and then dressed to go down home at 4:15. I stopped at Otts to talk with Fannie and her Mother till nearly six oclock. Hattie came down and I went home with her to supper. Rob and Cora are staying there. John seemed very nervous and Hattie thought not quite so well at supper time. I came home at 8:30 and we went right to bed. Edith would have been 31 years old today.
