Wednesday July 31st 1912 I finished putting up the peaches I had 23 qts from the bushel. baked a cake and worked out some things we needed. It was after two oclock when I got through. I slept awhile and wrote some before time to get supper. Thursday August 1st 1912 I did the ironing and some other house work. I rested in the afternoon and read some. Rob & Cora were out in evening. Friday August 2nd 192 I worked the rest of the things this forenoon and did other work. After dinner & dressed a chicken took the clothes from the line and at 3:15 went down home where The Aid Society met. I stayed till after supper. Ott walked over to the [track?] with me. Will took Henry Miller to the West Farm this forenoon to see about doing some work there. Saturday August 3rd 1912 I gave the house a good cleaning over and cooked a good dinner. Rob & Cora came out at 11:40 and Will went back to town with Rob at 1:15. Cora stayed till 4:15 I did some ironing in afternoon. and read in the evening. Sunday August 4th 1912 I got my work done to go to church. Saw Rob & Cora as they were going. I slept awhile after dinner, then wrote some letters and cards. I did the evening work and read and talked with Will in the evening. a week ago today we were on the way home. Johns seems to be improving some now.
