Thursday October 17th 1912 I sewed a little in the morning. Will went to the farm after dinner. I wrote Nellie & Winnie about my coming to see them. Went down to Mary Woolfs in afternoon It was 7 years today since Charles died so suddenly. Friday October 18th 1912 I was busy with the work most of the forenoon. I went to town at 1:15. I had so many thing to see to. Went down to the depot to see about time tables and called at Jennie Shicks. Will try putting kindling and shingles under shelter. Saturday October 19th 1912 Will to town both morning and afternoon. I busy with the work. I did some sewing in afternoon and in the evening finished Fannies bag. The men came in tonight they have finished the crib at the farm. A week of fine weather. Sunday October 20th 1912 I was busy about the house all forenoon and in the afternoon went down home. stopped at Otts and we talked up the trip. Expect to start Friday night. They spend only Saturday in Chicago then go on east. I stop at South bend till Monday night. I go to Chillicothe. I ate supper with Hattie. Came home at 6:30 and wrote letters all evening. It was 17 years today since we buried Charles. It was Sunday too. Monday October 21st 1912 I did some sewing today and baked a little. Cora came out late in the afternoon. she finished Fannies bag for me. Rob out to supper. He went at 8:15 and Cora stayed an hour longer.
