Thursday December 12th 1912 It was nice day. We went down to Mary Woolfs to a dinner for her 70th birthday. I took her a plant for a gift. We had a nice time. I made mittens for Will in the evening. a card from Lydia. Friday December 13th 1912 It was like spring. I washed some things. Will got a load of corn he had bought of Morie Hoff. We went to town in afternoon and I sewed on some cloths for him. Did fancy work in the evening. Saturday December 14th 1912 I worked very hard all forenoon ironing &c I went down home at 2:15. Fannie got back from Marshalltown last night. I spent part of the afternoon alone with Hattie. had supper there and walked back to town with Rob at 7:15. Did fancy work in evening. Sunday December 15th 1912 A fine morning. I went to church. Did some neglected house work after dinner. William was here a little time. I wrote to Lizzie Lindley and Nellie Boswell. After supper Rob Cora & Hattie were out for a short stay. Monday December 16th 1912 weather more pleasant than yesterday. I was busy with things I had on hand and prepared things for supper Rob & Cora were out. Rob could not stay long and Will took Cora down to the depot for a later car.
