Thursday December 26th 1912 Frank Woolf and wife came to Marys yesterday morning to surprise them. They with Mary spent the day here. We enjoyed it very much. spent the evening at home. Friday December 27th 1912 A fine day. We went down town before noon. I went to the depot at 3:15 to say good bye to Blanche and Robert. I then took the car to call on Anna Denton and family. at Aunt Emmas. Poor Anna how sudden this trouble came to her. I rode down town with Frank Stevens in the Auto. Walked over to fannies. Then up home of an errand and on over to Woolfs for supper. Will was there we spent the time very pleasantly till 8:30. Franks go home tomorrow. Saturday December 28th 1912 I was busy with the house work most of the morning. Will went to town at 1:15 and I down home an hour later. I visited with the girls till after supper. they went down to Otts. William walked to the track with me at 8:30. Sunday December 29th 1912 I went to church in the morning so it made a short afternoon. I was only through dinner when Rob & Cora came out for a call. I put away [my?] christmas presents and did a little writing. I read in the evening and did some thing for the dinner Wednesday. It was this date 1869 that Lizzie Robinson and I went down to visit The Charles family and came back to the brick school house to the spelling school. Rob met us there. Clem Hampton introduced me to Pete [Crowinger?]
