Sunday March 2nd 1913 I read and talked with the folks till nearly noon. I went up to Hatties and Will came down for dinner He came home at 3:40 and I an hour later a cold day. Monday March 3rd 1913 I was busy about the house all forenoon and went down to Marys in the afternoon to see Tishie who is sick. I read and did fancy work in the evening. Joe Mercer settled for the rest today. Tuesday March 4th 1913 Will helped me do the washing this forenoon and I did some sewing in afternoon and evening. We did intend going in town but gave it up it was so cold. Wednesday March 5th 1913 A stormy day again. I did some sewing. Will about the house most of the day. He sold "Profit" to Frank Carson for $145.00. It was too cold and stormy to go down to Robs to supper and to town to the picture show. It was 12 years today since Lee was buried and just such a day. Ott started to Denver tonight. A letter from Ida today. Thursday March 6th 1913 Weather some better. I swept and cleaned all forenoon. Will and I went to town together at 1:15 He got of at the lumber yard to pay a bill for me I got stuff for another comfort. I came back at 2:30, baked a cake, and cut and made my comfort and got it in the frames before supper. I was so tired I did nothing in the evening but read in a book. Lorie went to Cedar Rapids for a few days visit.
