Tuesday March 18th 1913 I got the dinner so Will started to town at 12:15. Before he had left the depot Tishie called that her Mother was very sick. I got him and he stopped there on his way to town. I did a little cleaning up stairs today. I am some better. Wednesday March 19th 1913 I did the work and some few extra things. Will did not go down to Marys today. I had a letter from Ida. I wrote she and Lizzie Lindley. weather unsettled. Thursday March 20th 1913 I swept and cleaned the lower story and the cellar today. Will went down to Marys in the afternoon. I am working on tatting for handerchiefs. They are busy down home taking the paper of the old parlors to paper. Friday March 20th 1913 There was a blizzard of snow raging all day. Will about the place. I worked at my tatting. Just befoe supper Will got out to shovel out the paths some. Saturday March 22nd 1913 Will to town for things needed and over to Robs for dinner. I worked out a few small pieces and did some mending. Fannie had a letter from Nellie. They are going to Milwaukee. Sunday March 23rd 1913 A stormy Easter Day. I wrote letters most of the day. Will was reading. Just at supper time there was terrible lightning with some rain. I read aloud to Will most of the evening. Hattie & Lorie went to church and to Robs to dinner. Otts at home all day.
