Thursday April 3rd 1913 This is brother Robs birthday. He would have been 59. nice weather. I was working out doors some. Will brought up ice for the first time and I cleaned out the refrigerator nicely before putting it in. After dinner I worked on my rug. Had a letter from Mary Briggs telling me about the flood. Friday April 4th 1913 It was snowing in the morning but stopped soon and a cold wind blew the rest of the day. I worked on my rug and in the evening wrote to Mary Briggs. Saturday April 5th 1913 Will and I both went to town on the 3:15. I did a lot of errands and got home at 10:40 having dinner ready when Will came an hour later. Will went back to town. I worked all afternoon and evening on my rug. weather pleasanter. Sunday April 6th 1913 I did not go to church. I read some and had dinner early. Will and I both went down to Otts to talk about the road. Ott had his barn moved. We were at Robs awhile Hatti, Lorie and Mildred McCallister were then home at 4:30. Monday April 7th 1913 It was storming all day. I did the work and sewed on my rug. The girls busy with dress making down home. Tuesday April 8th 1913 Still raining. I worked just as I did yesterday. Will in the house reading. I had a card from Lydia I read most of the evening.
