Wednesday April 9th 1913 Still cloudy and some rain. I finished the rugs I am making for myself and got material ready to make Hattie one. Thursday April 10th 1913 We had the cistern under the kitchen cleaned and cemented new today. I worked on the rug for Hattie. still cloudy. Friday April 11th 1913 I finished Hatties rug before time to get dinner. I took it down in the afternoon and went to town to get a lot of things we needed. I read in a library book in the evening. Saturday April 12th 1913 I did baking and got dinner in the forenoon. Fannie came out at 10:40 and Ott an hour later with Will and they went back to town in afternoon. I did a little sewing. A letter from Ida says she was getting home Friday of this week. The sun shone today. It is more than a week since we had a pleasant day. Hattie went to Burlington today. Friday April 13th 1913 It was a fine day and we went to church and then down to Van Meters where Rob & Cora met us and we had dinner together. came home at 1:30. I wrote letters most of the afternoon, was down in Coralville a few moments and in the evening Tishie [Eloise?] & I went to Congregational Church. Monday April 14th 1913 Will raked the yard and clenaend of the garden. I cleaned garret. I got done about four oclock. I rested awhile and got supper. Ron & Cora were put for supper and to spend the evening. a very pleasant day.
