Friday May 30th 1913 I was busy with the work and getting my things ready to pack. I did some washing and ironing. Will down town. Saturday June 1st 1913 Did morning work and Marne came to look after things for a week. Will took me down to the depot. Did some errands in town and left at 10:56. Reached Delavan at 6:45. Jim met me. Spent the evening visiting. Sunday June 1st 1913 Spent the day at Venes resting and visiting. I was very very tired. It is 26 years today Ott & Fannie were married. Monday June 2nd 1913 I went up to see about Pullman and other tickets. Got me a new hat. Was down to Lizzie Duncans for dinner. Bought ticket on my way back. Did packing. Tuesday June 3rd 1913 We had breakfast early. Left Delavan at 7:48 had a pleasant trip to St Louis. Sue McCallister Maxwell and Jenie McCloud met us and spent the hour we waited with us. Got on the Pullman had a pleasant afternoon trip. Supper in the car. to bed at 10 oclock. Wednesday June 4th 1913 After a good nights rest had breakfast and reached Oklahoma City at 9:30. Art & Ida met us and we spent the afternoon and evening visiting and meeting other members of the family. wrote letter home.
