Wednesday August 27th 1913 Was at Venes all morning. She & I went to the fair together. I went home with Lor Duncan. Will came later and we all took supper with Lizzie. We are having a fine visit. Thursday August 28th 1913 A warm day was at Venes all morning. Edith went to the fair with me. In the evening I went with she & Hattie to a tent theater. Will went up town awhile. Last day of fair. Friday August 29th 1913 Put in the time at Venes till middle of afternoon went over to Duncans. Found Will there. we all ate supper with Carl & Lor. went back to Venes about nine oclock. Saturday August 30th 1913 Frank Woolf was not able to come after Will Vene & I so in the afternoon Vene & I called on Rachel Hess, Sallie Seely & Laura Shultz. Spent the evening at Venes. Sunday August 31st 1913 Will & I went over to Tom McKinstrys to dinner by invitation. There was other company and we spent a pleasant day. about five oclock went back over to Venes. Spent the evening there it has been a very warm day. Monday September 1st 1913 Edith & Stella began their schools today. Will & I were over to spend the day with Mollie & Irene Turner. It was jist night when I went over to Venes and Will came later. Our last evening in Delavan. It was two years today since Dear Mother left us. What a joy to see her once more.
